Day 59

Today Miss E. hung out at Gram's house so that I could get some cleaning done around the house. Miss E. had a good time playing with Gram's kitty Shadow Monkey ;) Well more like she tried her hardest to pull shadows fur! She played with Uncle John and Gram and got tuckered out! Uncle John snapped some pics for me!

Later on at home after she got into her jammies, Miss E. was playing in her tent :) She also decided she would try to climb up to the couch using her drum to get up! What a monkey ;)

Day 58

Well they say to start good habits early. So since Miss E. has her first tooth we figured time to start brushing! She loves it! She gets excited when she sees the toothbrush! I think she likes the feel of the nice soft bristles on her gums. We sing the "Brush Your Teeth" song to her and she thinks it's pretty funny :)

Oh, and Daddy did her diaper this afternoon and she came back like this! She didn't look at all impressed with his choice, LOL! First the big shirt now little baby big pants! Come on Daddy, get it right!

 

Day 57, Come on Summer Time!!!

Yay! I am so excited :) Just booked a cottage for summer vacation! Now I am dreaming of warm summer days, green grass, sand castles, swimming, and sitting by the fire roasting marshmallows! Can't wait :)

Day 56, Laundry Day

Well, did some laundry today and Miss E. decided she would help with the case of the missing socks....

 This is a lot of laundry Mommy!!!!

Don't worry Mommy, I'll find them :)

Day 55 Something Sticky

This weeks mission: Something Sticky

And a sure sign that spring is on its way!!! 

That's right, the Cadbury Bunny visited, lol!
 That's all I got today ;)

Day 54

All day, all Miss E. has been wanting to do is practice standing! Whatever she can pull herself up on she does! She wasn't satisfied with crawling for long, had to move right on to the next challenge!

And practicing falling on her bum too ;)

Day 53

Miss E. decided to crawl over to her ball popper tonight and started playing with it. She has only been mildly interested in it, but tonight discovered she loves the feel of air blasting at her. It somehow got pointed at her face and she loved it! It blew what little hair she has up in the air and she would shake with excitement and giggle with glee!!! I couldn't stop laughing it was so funny! I got her Daddy to help her press the button on it while I tried to get some pictures of it. The girl likes the feel of wind in her hair!

Day 52

This morning I was cleaning up Miss E.'s toys and said to my husband, "E has way too many toys, we are now cut off from buying anything else for a while!" Then I happen to click on Kijiji and see this cool tent. Well what do you suppose I did. You guessed it, Miss E. has a new tent, lol! Well now, we are really cut off from buying more toys! Well until we spot the next cool thing that is. I think the problem is me and my hubby are big kids ourselves and just can't resist. Oh well, she did enjoy it. She explored it for quite some time and dragged some of her toys in there too. 

 And here are a couple of her playing this morning right after we got up. She is still wanting to practice her standing and eventually falling ;)

Day 51

Well today was a gorgeous sunny day finally! We went for a little walk along the Thames just off Wonderland near the old Wonderland Gardens and soaked in a little sun. Then we went off to White Oaks for a little shopping and strolling around the mall. Miss E. had supper at the food court and tasted Daddy's lemonade. I don't think she actually sucked any in through the straw, but got enough of the taste of it from the the drops on the straw. She made a sour face, but then wanted more, lol. I think she will have her Daddy's love for sour things, as she loves the taste of pickles too! We also stopped at an aquarium store to check out some fish. Miss E. thought they were pretty cool!

Another Something Blue: My little blue jean bum!!!

My big mall purchase, a blueberry scented candy candle. They smell so good you want to eat them!!!

And coincidently also something blue :)

I may add my blue glass collection tomorrow as well if I have time.

And one last one for tonight. Miss E. later on at home trying to stand. She knocked over her kitchen toys and used it for support. Is her plan to walk at 8 months?!?!? I don't know if I can handle that, her crawling is keeping me busy enough!!!

Then proceeded to try to climb it! This is why I call her my little monkey ;)
