Day 29

Well another rough day of teething :(  Miss E. and Mommy are going a little cuckoo bananas at this point, LOL!

She also got her first glimpse of Sesame Street today. I was flipping through the channels and it caught her attention big time! I know TV is not ideal baby entertainment, lol, but figured 5 minutes or so couldn't do that much damage, at least I hope not :) She was waving her arms around as Ernie sang, very cute!

We are also trying to introduce some meat into her diet. She loves her veggies, fruits, cereal and yoghurt but so far meat is a no go. We tried some jars of baby food chicken and turkey and she was soooo not impressed. Tonight we tried some ground hamburger meat mixed with carrots and put through the food processor a bit. The results are below. Again, soooo not impressed. I think she may end  up being vegetarian, LOL ;)

Day 28

Well this picture pretty much says how most of my day was.......

 

But thanks to my Mom for coming over to help take care of Miss E. while I got over it, I am doing much better now, thank you Mom, I love you!!!!! Miss E. is doing a bit better today. She had a good day but starting getting grumpy around supper time. After a long nap she is now happy for the moment, fingers crossed it stays that way :)

Now the house smells wonderful because my wonderful hubby who worked all day, went shopping after work, then slaved in the kitchen for a couple hours making some delicious looking chili, mmmmm!! He is the good cook in this house, and I love him soooo much for all he does!

And my favourite fruit for dessert tonight, cherries, yummmmmmm :)

Day 27

Well the teething hell continues :(  Miss E. whimpered in her sleep all last night and upon waking this morning immediately stuck her fingers in her mouth and started chewing and didn't stop chewing on things all day :( Well I had to escape and leave her with Daddy for a bit this evening for my own sanity. I got a couple photography books to brush up a little. Canon EOS Rebel T1i for Dummies to learn my new camera and How to Photograph Absolutely Everything. I saw someone else post they got these books so I checked them out and decided to buy them. I was into photography a while back. I took the first year of the Photography course at Fanshawe College about 12 years ago now but it may as well be a lifetime ago for all I remember, lol. I had my own darkroom set up for a while too. Well the course just about sapped all my love for photography and I decided it wasn't a career I would be happy with, but rather a hobby I enjoy. Now I just photograph to please myself and I find I am beginning to love it again! I am not a great photographer by any means, but it is fun to play around!!! Got a giant decaf skinny cinnamon latte at Starbucks, yummm and am going to try to read a bit tonight. That is if Miss E. manages to get to sleep. Poor baby, come on teeth break through soon, please!!!!!!!!!!

I love books so much, wish I had more time to read right now.

Read the whole series while I was pregnant and was surprised how much I loved it! I guess I am just an adolescent girl at heart, lol ;)

Day 26, Tea Time

Miss E. and I had a lovely afternoon with the ladies. We were invited for lunch and afternoon tea at my best friend's Aunts place. We had a delicious lunch followed by tea and afterwards the girls played. My friend's Mom gave the girls all their own cute little tea cups :) They had their milk and Miss E. sipped some water, it was cute :)

Day 25

OK, here is my supper tonight. I am trying like crazy to eat healthier to shed all this baby weight that doesn't seem to want to budge! I fell off the wagon big time this weekend, but am trying to get back on track today. I did pretty well and did a  little Wii Fit too. Just gotta keep myself motivated which has been tough lately.

So supper was a yummy spinach chicken salad with raspberries and some roasted potatoes! It was delish!!!

And for dessert passion fruit, raspberry, orange sherbet with raspberries on top. OK, it could be a healthier dessert like all fruit, but hey I still need a little indulgence, lol. And it was yummers too!

And Finally some of Miss E. She is teething big time tonight and quite the cranky pants! First one is of her semi happy and the next one her grumper face :(  She made her way to the pile of laundry I folded on the floor and started to play in them which was cute until she started to bawl, lol. Happy to sad in .02 seconds!

Day 24

Well after a busy Saturday, we had a lazy, lazy Sunday. Slept in and rested all day, and then did some much needed grocery shopping. What a rainy winter day. We now have a stocked fridge, downstairs freezer and pantry for hopefully at least the next 2 weeks! Miss E.was playing on her tiger tonight and looked so cute!!!

Day 23

Today was so much fun!!!! Grandma and Grand Dad C. came for a visit today. We had a yummy lunch and a nice visit :) Our best friends came a little later in the afternoon to see them with their girls too. Grand Dad C. played his Harmonica for the girls and they loved it!!!!! Miss E. loves to hear him play :) Family and friends is the best way to spend a day :)
