Today we went to Port Stanley for a train ride to meet the Easter Bunny with our friends! The train went from Port Stanley to St. Thomas. It was about a twenty minute ride each way and a fifteen minute stop to meet the bunny and look for eggs. Miss E. enjoyed the train ride and was quite curious about the big white rabbit! Even met a London Mom at the train station, Pancake! Took me a minute to clue into someone calling me Mamma Bunny in real life, lol :) Afterwards we walked around Port Stanley for a bit and then to the beach. We enjoyed a burger and fries by the beach at Mackie's. Miss E. loved the french fries, lol! We even stopped at Shaws for some ice cream on the way home. Miss E. fell asleep and missed out on the ice cream, woke up just as we finished. On the way home we stopped by my hubby's old work in St. Thomas, the old Dana Victor Reinz factory. He was curious as to what was still left there. When we got there we saw it was on fire!!!! The fire trucks were putting out the fire already. Not much left of the old factory now.
So all in all a very busy day! Luckily Gram brought some yummy cabbage rolls she made for Easter weekend over for Miss E.'s supper! Good thing, because I was pretty tired our from the day and was grateful not to have to make supper!

Who would have thought it would be beach weather on April 2nd??? The beach was super busy though. It did get 26 today, more like June then April!!

Wow, Dana was actually on fire as you were there?? That was a historic landmark building too! What a shame.
